Founded in 1991,  in the city of Senador Canedo - Goiás next to Goiânia,  the Tannery Midwest began its beneficiation cowhides to meet the demand for slaughter of a refrigerator near its headquarters.

As every beginning, the CCO (as we call it) started its activities with a few modest facilities and machinery.

In 2007 under new management,  young and bold, the Tannery Midwest began an intense process of modernization of its facilities and equipment, as well as a strong investment in training and appreciation of its employees as well as an ongoing concern with the environmental policies.

It currently has suppliers in different states.

Tuned with the leather segment innovated in many ways the processing of skins, creating new formulas and industrial processes.
